a Japanese guy pulling the rickshaw! :D
LOBSTER & FRIEND! :D
SUMO WRESTLERS!!! but i didn't dare to take a pic with them coz we heard from the salesperson that they don't take pictures with people =x and they are only out to buy some stuff, and are supposed to rush back to their training school!
TOKYO TOWER IN THE DAY!
the 2-day METRO TICKET for travelling, which is about 980 Yen, which is about 13bucks! It's already considered very cheap, as travelling from one station to the NEXT station (means effectively you're only being transported for 1 stop) costs you about 150Yen, which is SGD 2.00!!! you can train from CCK to AMK in singapore and it's about.. less than SGD 2.00?!!?!
One of the many Ferris Wheels in Japan! The 'Rainbow Ferris Wheel'!
Mummy, baby and me trying to form a star on the ground!
the 'Rainbow bridge' from far! i still don't know why it's called the Rainbow Bridge! Maybe it's because of the Rainbow Ferris Wheel.. they're found at the same place!

CHOPPER! ONE PIECE! :D
FARNIE SPECTACLES! :D
KAWAII SHITT!
Baby with FIREWORKS thingy in her hand!!! We didn't manage to play with the fireworks in the end though. :(
A piece with cheap food! About 400 Yen for each bowl of noodle? That's like only SGD 5.33! One of the cheapest places we found! Coz each meal is about SGD 10?!! (Btw, it's a backpacking trip, not those with tour! that's why it's not buffet or 10-course meal!)
Thomas & Friends (the lil boy!!) This train heads toward Mt. Fuji! (: very pretty train! couldn't believe my eyes when i first saw it!! :D super lucky to have tried this train, as other trains to Mt. Fuji are all very ugly =x
Thomas' fave friendd, who's MEEEEEE!
The design in Thomas & Friends' train!

Nice Bonsai @ display near the Ueno Zoo in Tokyo!
Bonsai & me! my jacket is almost of the same color as the Bonsai! and the weather sucked. It was raining, so some pics are blurred, and I hardly took any pics of the animals!
UENO ZOO!!! CUTE PANDAS!! A pity the GIANT PANDA passed away in April this yr.. or else we'd have seen it!
Another cute train!
Pretty park!
Popeye the Sailorman!!!!!!! But i didn't manage to take a picture with it as I was rushing off to play the rides @ Universal Studios, Osaka.
Pretty cottage-like "palace" in Universal Studios!
2 cute vending machines for people who are in need of ponchos! the JAWS ride was ultra funny, and the kids were terrified after the ride! and there were real explosions during the ride! so vivid & cool! I love Japan and their technology!

Some scenery. This picture is totally unpresentative of the actual scenery!! The actual one's sooooo much better!
Mum's fave: Ebi!
On the plane! on the way back ):
Scenery from the plane!

I enjoyed my 10-day trip so much, and I wish I could stay there for a longer time! Kinda regretted not going Disneyland, but no choice lah. some problems with the planning. haha and we stayed in 5 different hotels in just 10 DAYS! felt that it was a super bad choice to have wanted to shift so many times.. super tiring to climb all the steps @ the train stations!!!

I love Japan, as all the Japanese are very friendly & helpful! (: 99.9% of the Japanese helped us to find our way to the different places. 0.1% didn't help because they didn't know a single bit of English. if not they'd have helped! :)

Japan is clean & green, like seriously! Recycling bins are everywhere. :D and people really throw the rubbish accordingly! haha.

And Japanese are healthy because they have to walk long distances in train stations (there are a zillion exits), and climb staircases (most Tokyo train stations DON'T HAVE ESCALATORS, and we guessed that it's because they want their people to "exercise" everyday, LIKE SERIOUSLY EVERYDAY). We nearly died climbing with our heavy baggages. x_x

Sightseeing in Japan is really nice! (: went shopping for clothes & food too... but everything's so ex! =( tried the Bullet train Hikari! Nozomi's the fastest bullet train I think.. But our JR Pass didn't include the fastest bullet train.. So we only took Hikari. Fast enough already! About 300km/hr :D and the seats in the train are like Business-class seats in airplanes! roar. super comfy! :)

I want to go Japan again, but I don't want to climb stairs or walk long distances anymore! I want to be a "taitai", just like what weixiong said. LOL.

Anyway, Area 16 Survival Camp 08 was quite alright. Thank you all TOs, HOs, and CIs for making it possible! Without all your help, it would have been shittay. Thanks so much! (:
Thanks neh for taking over on day 3, or else I'd have missed my flight! HAHA. :D

-

I've not let it bother me ever since, and yes I've yet moved on.

let's go somewhere only you & i know.
